About Us

In 2006 we took a leap of faith and moved to Colorado Springs because we love it here. Steve left his production management job of nineteen and a half years. Ginny’s background in interior design and creativity was a nice addition to Steve’s management and production experience. We took the opportunity to start our cabinet painting business together. We built it up and made it through the recession of 2008, then the highs of the season after that and now through the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, quarantines and all.

Life is always up and down, and we won’t ever know what the future holds, but I have to say we are grateful for our business, the hardworking people who work alongside us, our community who continue to refer business to us, and our repeat customers who, after a move or renovation, have us back to paint more cabinets. The well-oiled machine that is Colorado Cabinet Coatings continues to bring beauty to our customers’ homes and to support, by means of jobs, several families in our city. It has been a joy to meet so many wonderful people along the way. We appreciate those who have helped us to succeed by hiring locally. If we haven’t had the opportunity to meet you in person, I hope we do!
